PHILADELPHIA – The African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) announced today that it has named Dr. Ashley Jordan as its next President and CEO. Dr. Jordan, who most recently served as Senior Director of Development at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, brings significant experience managing and leading cultural institutions focused on memorializing and celebrating the African American experience in the United States.

The African American Museum in Philadelphia’s Presidential Search Committee selected Dr. Jordan following a nearly year-long process. Campbell & Company assisted the committee in its efforts.
