PHILADELPHIA– Bellevue Communications Group announced today that Sarah Reyes, the former Digital Director for the City of Philadelphia, has been hired as Director of Digital Strategy. In her new role, Sarah will develop content, manage social media accounts, and execute digital campaigns with the goal of growing clients’ online profiles and opportunities.
“We are excited to welcome Sarah to the team,” said Bellevue President Kevin Feeley. “She was at the center of the action in City Hall communications, and we are delighted that she will bring her expertise and experience to our digital team at Bellevue.”
Reyes served as the City’s Digital Director in the Mayor’s Office of Communications, where she oversaw the City’s digital campaigns, doing social media consulting for more than 50 social media managers across all City departments. Reyes led crisis management, improvement of the City’s website, and distribution of the City’s internal newsletter, which has an audience of more than 30,000 employees.
Reyes began her career by serving in the AmeriCorps City Year Program in Philadelphia, developing communication skills while volunteering to improve lives for young people throughout the city. She used that experience to begin her career as the Communications Manager of the Mayor’s Office of Education, then shifting in 2018 to become Deputy Digital Director and Deputy Communications Director under former Mayor Jim Kenney. In those positions, she was responsible for managing online messaging campaigns.
A graduate of The College of New Jersey, Reyes earned her bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education.
