PHILADELPHIA- For the first time in Welcome America history, the festival was kicked-off with programming in commemoration of Juneteenth, through a partnership with TheAfrican American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) and VISIT PHILADELPHIA®. Guests enjoyed a full day of outdoor family-friendly festivities at AAMP, featuring live music, African dance, poetry and more! Festival attendees  were able to shop local vendors, grab a bite at a Philly food truck, take part in fun artmaking activities, and view the museum’s stunning exhibition offerings.
